During his opening speech, Dr. Agonafer Tekalegne, EPHA president emphasized the need to review the strategic plan and presented the way forward to achieve EPHA's vision and mission.

Dr. Alemayehu Mekonnen, the Executive Director of EPHA on his part presented an overview of the 10 years strategic plan. He stated the inception, the development process, and challenges faced during the implementation of the plan. 

Consultants from MERQ plc have also presented the methodology used to review the strategic plan along with key findings and recommendations.

During the workshop the participants have shared their suggestions and inputs to be considered in the document revision. Dr. Alemayehu in his closing remarks addressed the way forwards.

Representatives from MoH, chapter focal persons, stakeholders, invited guests from universities, EPHA EB members and secretaries have attended the workshop.
