TThe Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) has been awarded certificate of appreciation and a trophy depicting the Martyr's of Memorial Monument found in Mekele town in recognition of the valuable contributions the Association has made to the regional health bureau of Tigray and the health sector development of the region as a whole and for working with the people and government of Tigray in an effort to meet the Millennium Development Goals. 

 

The award was handed over to EPHA by His Excellency Ato Abay Weldu, President of the Tigray regional state on the occasion of the Health Professionals Festival held on the 4th of April 2013, in Mekele. Ato Ali Beyene, Director for Member Affairs and Networking of EPHA received the award and certificate of appreciation on behalf of EPHA.
